Iconic dishes include tripas à moda do Porto, a historic recipe from the Age of Discoveries, and bacalhau à Gomes de Sá, a dish that has influenced culinary traditions. While, other local favorites are caldo verde, a comforting traditional soup, and francesinha, a modern, hearty sandwich layered with meats, cheese, and a rich signature sauce.

NAZARÉ & ÓBIDOS

As can be seen, Nazaré, a picturesque fishing village is celebrated for its world-famous surf spot and the planet’s biggest waves.

To demonstrate, dare to challenge German surfer Sebastian Steudtner’s record of riding a colossal 26.2-meter (86-foot) wave? Probably not—but you can still soak in the thrill of this iconic destination.

Afterward, be treated to a sumptuous seafood lunch, where the catch of the day takes center stage.

Again, as we continue our journey toward Lisbon, we stop in Óbidos, a captivating medieval town dating back to the 12th century.

Not to mention, perched on a hilltop and surrounded by a fortified wall, Óbidos is a remarkable example of well-preserved medieval architecture.

Then arrive to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and the oldest city in Western Europe, is renowned for its sunny weather, vibrant scenery, and warm hospitality. AZEITÃO

Azeitão, a civil parish in the municipality of Setúbal, is a collection of charming and serene villages located 35 kilometers south of Lisbon. Not to mention, surrounded by rolling vineyards, this idyllic region is celebrated for its fine white Moscatel wine and rich, creamy cheese.

Lose oneself, in the tranquil ambiance as you savor a glass of chilled wine in one of Portugal’s most renowned wine towns. Experience the distinct flavors of the region, indulge in wine tastings, and embrace the peaceful serenity that Azeitão has to offer.

Afterwards, this evening soak yourself in a unique experience with a Fado dinner live show in Bairro Alto, one of Lisbon’s most iconic and picturesque neighborhoods.

With a shawl, a guitar, and a soulful voice, Fado encapsulates the heart and spirit of Portugal. Equally, this internationally recognized musical genre expresses deep emotions, singing of heartbreak, longing, everyday life, and triumphs.

As a matter of fact, often described as the voice of the Portuguese soul, Fado transcends boundaries, connecting listeners to its profound and timeless essence.

ÉVORA & MONSARAZ

Lastly, our guide will lead us on an exploration of the Alentejo region, beginning with a visit to Évora, the main city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enclosed by ancient walls, Évora boasts remarkable landmarks such as the Church of S. Francisco, home to the famous Chapel of the Bones (admission included), the Évora Cathedral, and the Roman Temple.

From there, the tour continues to Monsaraz, with an enchanting stop along the way at a traditional pottery village. Here, local artisans craft clay masterpieces by hand, sustaining a community of 23 family-owned pottery workshops that export their creations worldwide.
